WHAT IS THIS TEDx CONFERENCE THAT YOU DID?

TED was founded in 1984 as a foundation aiming to discuss ideas that have to do with Technology, Entertainment, and Design. It became fully functional around 2001, conducting conferences twice a year, inviting speakers to talk about technology, science, humanity, environment, health, community, child development, activism, and many other topics in the US with a motto ‘ideas worth spreading’. All the speakers give powerful talks that can change attitudes, bring new ideas, or even change some narratives in a maximum of only 18 minutes. The TED conference was open to anyone who has any idea worth sharing, and they don't have to be professional speakers. This gives room for everyone to tell their untold stories. As TED conferences became increasingly popular, people across the globe wanted to participate.
